Shannon Hourigan
Shannon Hourigan was born in Hamilton, New Zealand. At 16 she relocated to Australia with her family and went on to attend the Queensland College of Art where she earned a Bachelor of Visual Arts in Photography.
In 2006 she moved from Melbourne to Los Angeles where she became involved in film, shooting and directing a number of short films and music videos and assuming the role of Cinematographer in two feature films.
Her latest series of work has been largely informed and influenced by this experience and blends a cinematic eye with a fine art photography sensibility.
