Ziese Architecture
Ziese Architecture, Inc. is a full-service architecture firm providing design services for commercial, residential, and institutional projects ranging from single-family custom homes, retail tenant improvements, and remodel work to larger high-density residential apartment buildings and mixed-use urban infill complexes. Specialties include sustainable building practices, historic preservation and renovation, and adaptive reuse.
The studio is located at the Brewery Arts Complex in the heart of Los Angeles, California.

Daniel J. Ziese
Principal Daniel J. Ziese, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, NCARB designs residences, residential remodels and renovations, mixed-use podium projects, apartment buildings, institutional buildings, commercial/office buildings and retail centers. Daniel graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture, where he focused his studies on alternative and sustainable building designs and techniques.
Daniel is versed in alternative sustainable design techniques such as rammed-earth, adobe, straw bale, rain and gray water harvesting systems, adaptive reuse and various other environmentally-sensitive building methods. Skilled in solar studies and analysis, Daniel incorporates energy-efficient principals such as passive solar and ventilation techniques into a building's design.
Prior to opening his own firm, Daniel interned at Dougherty&Dougherty (CA), worked as job captain at Thomas Cox Architects (CA) and KTGY Group (CA) and was a project manager and designer at Bundy-Finkel Architects (CA).

Han Hsieh
Architectural designer Han Hsieh (B.Arch., 2002) was educated at the University of Arizona College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture. Han is a talented designer who designs medium and high-density residential projects, institutional and civic buildings, and commercial retail developments. His experience includes positions as architectural designer at Gangi Architects in Los Angeles and KTGY Group in Orange County.
In addition to his design skills, Han is fluent in Mandarin and can assist in meeting the needs of Chinese-speaking clients.
