ARTIST STATEMENT:

Luminous Echoes of the Lived Experience is a light-based installation that explores the cyclical nature of human emotion. The installation features a series of eight light portraits that use light, reflection, and refraction to depict a distinct inner state—from the bright spontaneity of Joy to the stillness of Silence. This is not a linear story of a lifetime, but rather a universal arc of experience that repeats throughout our lives: a moment of searching, a period of turmoil, a quiet descent into sadness, and a hard-won moment of resilience. These light portraits invite the viewer to witness the intangible by using light to give shape to the emotions we feel, analyze, and learn from over and over again.
