Rules & Guidelines
Please read carefully. Entries that do not follow the requirements will be eliminated from the contest. Contest open to residents only (including dayspacers and roommates) One entry per person.
- Design must be 18 x 24 inches, vertical/portrait orientation.
- Acceptable file formats for entries are: jpg, jpeg, gif and png.
- The final winner will also need to submit a 300 dpi or greater CMKY image for print.
There are no restrictions on subject matter but the design should reflect the spirit of Artwalk and the community. Artwork must be original and 100% created by the entrant. Artwork must not contain copyrighted text or images. Medium can be drawing, painting, photography, computer-generated images or any other visual medium that can be easily represented in a digital file format (ie: png, tiff, jpg etc.).
One single-artist resident registration for the spring 2020 artwalk. If the winning artist has already registered for the event, they will be reimbursed for the cost of a single- artist residential registration up to the highest tier.
All entries will be posted online for a predetermined period. Voting will be open to the general public, and the entry with the most votes at the close of the contest will be the winner. Winner will be contacted directly and announced on the BAA website.
The BAA reserves the right to reject entries that do not adhere to the requirements put forth here.
TERMS OF ENTRY:
All entries shall become property of the Brewery Artwalk Association (BAA) until such time as the contest has ended and the winner has been announced. By entering the contest, the winner grants the BAA reproduction and publication rights of the submitted work. In addition, Participants consent to the use of the contestant’s first and last name on the contest webpage and other related promotions without further permission, compensation, or approval. Further, Participants release, discharge, indemnify and agree to hold harmless the BAA and its members/representatives from all claims, damages, demands, obligations, or losses of any kind related to or arising from, participation in this contest.
