Charles Swenson

Bio: Charles Swenson, a Los Angeles native, attended Art Center and Chouinard Art Institute, graduating with honors. His career began at Charles Eames’ design office, where he contributed to the IBM film for the 1965-66 New York World’s Fair. Swenson later joined Filmfair as a principal animation designer, eventually becoming a partner at Murakami/Wolf/Swenson. His notable works include *The Point*, “200 Motels”, *Puff the Magic Dragon*, and the Academy Award-nominated *The Magic Pear Tree*. After working on *Twice Upon A Time* with LucasFilm, he joined Klasky Csupo, contributing to *Rugrats* and *Aaahh!!! Real Monsters*. Swenson later created *Mike, Lu & Og* for Cartoon Network and produced the award-winning short film *Bookashkis*. He now focuses on painting and developing projects while serving on the Board of Directors of the Chouinard Foundation.
