Born and raised in Portland Oregon Dennis Larios indulged himself in the NW’s coffee culture. Early on consuming coffee and creating art was a normal way of life while constantly being inspired to use unconventional materials. After living in Italy for some time his passion for a good espresso and fine art grew and he finally returned to Los Angeles where he now resides to pursue art full time. However, it wasn’t until one morning when he made a fresh cup of coffee that he had a revolutionary idea to add coffee to his list of unconventional art supplies. He now combines his love for delicious coffee and art together to create unique aromatic pieces of art.

 

Coffee has become somewhat of a cult like religion for so many insomniacs, workaholics and coffee lovers everywhere. Kind of a world wide spiritual connection. I want my art to express that no matter what kind of unconventional things life throws at us, with a little imagination and creativity the journey will always have a beautiful outcome .
