Jessica Csanky
Inspired by the vibrant landscapes of California and her love of travel, dance, and music, Jessica creates expressive, colorful paintings that celebrate life. Her work uses color as a primary language to explore the beauty and complexity of the human experience, guided by a belief that art can uplift, connect, and bring meaning to our time on earth.
Jessica earned an MFA from Claremont Graduate University (CGU) in 2020, graduating with honors and receiving the Karl and Beverly Benjamin Fellowship, a prestigious award recognizing artistic achievement. She previously studied at Loyola Marymount University’s respected Film School, where she developed a foundation in visual storytelling and composition, earning her BFA with a Minor in Studio Arts.
In 2019, Jessica was accepted to an international residency at Budapest Art Factory, an experience that deepened her engagement with international contemporary art. Her work has since placed in numerous private collections and her large scale installation was acquired by Ontario International Airport, California in 2022. She currently works from her studio at the historic Brewery Artist Studios in Los Angeles.
