Melissa Dyanne Bartlett
Melissa Dyanne began her career in New York after earning a BFA from the University of Washington and an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Now based in Los Angeles, she creates paintings and mixed-media works that merge imagination with memory, exploring the origins of life and energy within dystopian or dreamlike landscapes. Her recent series, painted on stretched bedsheets, combines collage and gestural imagery reminiscent of diary scribbles—linking the intimacy of the body’s imprint to the persistence of memory and the poetic residue of lived experience.
